Asset Engineering, Inc. is a 100% minority-owned company founded by Charles R. Reed II. Mr. Reed has an extensive design and construction background. He has over 6 years experience of doing business with FDOT and other governmental agencies in Florida and the Caribbean. Mr. Reed’s years of experience include a wide array of services, including cost estimating, permitting, project management, and training.

Mr. Reed, a graduate of Florida State University, has an extensive design and construction background. Mr. Reed personally provides construction management and project invoicing services for the FDOT District One Office. These services involve daily coordination with local agencies, field inspections, and payment reimbursements for Federally Funded Projects. This program is known as the Local Agency Program (LAP) and includes other Federally Funded Projects that have been birthed thru the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), signed into law February 17th, 2009.

Mr. Reed’s strong beliefs in giving back to the community have led to a series of extracurricular activities. Mr. Reed teaches a math class at Polk State College, tutors kids/adults from the greater Tampa area in math, and finds time to coach youth sports. Mr. Reed and his wife are in the process of establishing a non-profit organization that will inspire America’s youth.
